Is there a plugin that...
Ok, so I would assume most people have many many folders of different music, right?
I need/would like a plugin that would create random playlists based on different folders. For example: The first song would be a random song out of my "rock" folder The next song would be a random song from my "classic rock" folder Then a random one from my "others" folder etc etc Of course for all I know, there could already be a plug in like this, and I just don't know about it. If there isn't... there should be ;-) |

What about Winamp's Media Library?

You can add views to the media library by right-clicking on "Local Media" and clicking "Add smart view...". Enter "Rock" as the name of the view and as the query, enter the following:
type = "0" AND filename HAS "\rock\" (in case of your rock folder) [size=1]"Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning." - Richard Cook |
