does ANYONE have a copy of SPEAKNPLAY?
I desperately need this plugin to complete my car audio system, since it's the only one i've ever tried that worked, but I don't have a copy of it anymore, and the guy's website is down for another month or so (if it ever comes back up) so does anyone have a copy of this plugin on their computer? Please e-mail me at bryan@sickofman.com, or IM me on AIM at no1leftbutme if you do. i'd really appreciate it.

E-Mail me at iaegx6@umr.edu. I do not have the resources to keep up a server for the plugin and the university has pretty cut off everything. Anyone who wants the source can have it as well. There are a small number of issues with SpeakNPlay that have not been addressed. One of them is the fact that any song title, genre, album, etc. with certain characters such as a / or \ will cause the speech engine to throw an error when building the grammar. The slashes are the only characters I know of that cause an error. The second problem is that large media libraries cause the plugin and winamp to stop responding for a short period of time while the grammar is being built. Anyone is welcome to modify SpeakNPlay as they wish. I am sorry I am unable to host the plugin. However, now that I am back on campus I can send the larger files through other means via my lan connection.

Also, I might add that I have recieved too many e-mails over summer break to keep up. E-mail me again for the plugin and I will send it. Make sure you have enough room in your inbox for a file that is about 3.7MB.

no, the upload did not work when I tried to submit the plugin some time ago. I send two or three e-mails requesting help on the matter and never received a response. This has made me very upset with Winamp.com. However, I believe the reason for the problem is the file size. I may have successfully set up a new ftp server to host the files for now. Try ftp://131.151.183.19:2120 I have to use a port other than 21 because that port is blocked. SpeakNPlay2WINAMP.zip is file you are looking for. SpeakNPlay2WMP.zip is for Media Player 9 and the fiels with SAPI at the end include support files for the plugin such as MS SAPI 5.1(Speech Engine). Get a new website up... maybe. Let me know if it works.
