Bath > Shower
I was in chat a week ago, started saying I was drawing my bath water when someone commented "Oh you like to swish around in your own filth eh?"
Bathing is not filthy at all, in fact, I find it gets me cleaner and leaves me smelling nicer than a shower would. If i'm really concerned about "my own filth" I can just turn the shower head on when i'm finished bathing to rinse off any excess "filth" that might remain at the end. I think there is also health benifits to bathing that goes way beyond just getting clean. Soaking in hot water is probably good for your circulation, you definetly sweat while bathing which means you are releasing more of the toxins in you body via your pours. Finally, a hot bath soaks any dirt/grime/hairspray you have on your body so you can more effectively wipe it away.(Soaking Aqua net out of my hair is a common occurance on weekends) Baths > Showers. |

EDIT: Not Germ in a tub, although that gives me worse feelings. |

I don't mind an occasional bath. But I really don't have time, so it's rinse and leave.

I love baths, but since it does take pretty long I don't bath very often. About two or three times a year, at max.

If I have time, sure I like a nice hot bath. Usually, a shower is all my time affords, though.

They don't make bath tubs long enough for me.
![]() At any rate, I would probably still shower instead of bathe. It's quicker. |

I agree that soaking in hot water has positive medical benefits, especially if you have muscle problems, back problems, kidney stones, etc.
I don't have (translation: I don't give myself) enough time to bathe every day, so I shower. I consider a bath to be a luxury. Something to do when I have (/make) the time for it. I'm a psychosomatic sister running around without a leash. |

There's nothing quite like an after-running shower.

I feel uneasy when my sperm are swimming right around me...

they have shampoo whose only purpose is to get out hair products...and i use a loofa(who knows what this?) to get extra clean. Oh and showers are much quicker than baths. baths however are good if u need to relax.

I'm pretty dirty and tired when I get home from work.
So first I shower off good then I relax in a bath. And if I really want to relax I got my tunes playing. The lights down low a couple of candles going. A beer and some smoke.

I don't like smoking, but I usually try to give the lady a smoke if we, er, I take a bath...

That reminds me of that day last winter. I was visiting a friend and when I got in my car I started to shiver pretty badly. When I got home, still shivering, taking a hot bath felt like the best thing imaginable...
