I need some help plz!

Hey, i somesome help with shoutcast.

When i change my Destip in the config, when i open shoutcase it just flashes and the program doesent stay up. But when i change it back to ANY it does stay up. And when i enter my ip address under address and then click connect, it doesent let me. I have to use localhost witch i dont think is right. I can connect with it, but when im in it says:

connections--preferences-3e tab - uncheck the box before the lines about the firewall

Uncheck the box that says Protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the internet ? Its allready unchecked

I wouldn't disable it, especially if it's your only firewall.

use the edit button, little grey thing underneath your post , you can use it for adding things or fixing typo's for some 3 hours after posting, it look better than making several posts just below eachother.

- run through the whole thing again

- open ports 8000 and 8001 in router and xp firewall
- clear your internet cache
- and if you are on a network of computers--->
make sure the dnas software (server) is on the first computer that connects to the internet, you can setup the winamp player and dsp plug on any other computer on the network, instead of entering localhost, enter the first computers ip in the box.
- make sure internet sharing is disabled on the first computer otherwise it won't do anything
