Playlist Editor and Media Library (Please help if you can.)

I have two questions, one involving the PL and the other involving the ML. ML question first:

Is there any way to XML code the TOC in the ML without the rest of the ML window. In other words, is it possible to use the ML TOC sidecar the way WA3 had the playlist sidecar?

PL question:
Is there any way to access the PL besides using it's GUID? I know Sven found one way when he did MMD3's drawer PL for WA3, but it bugs out in WA5, and I'd like to know if it's possible to do what he did in WA5 that doesn't bug out.

Please keep in mind that I want to be able to do these things in XML or MAKI scripts, is at all possible.

1st question: sorry, not possible with XML & MAKI. but i believe DrO is making a plugin for that though.

2nd question: the PL drawer in MMD3 is an old component and is buggy in 5. another way to have the playlist there i think is to use 5.0 normal pl. although with this you cannot have 2 playlists at the same time. the drawer must close if you open the pl window. and the pl window must also close if the drawer opens.

I looked at DrO's plugin, and while what he /intends/ to do with it will be cool, what he has so far is basically a playlist with a notepad, which is useless for my purposes.
