Simple playlist idea
When browsing through a playlist, it could be helpful to be able to hit the "D" key on your keyboard, for example, and skip to the first playlist entry that starts with a D, like in windows explorer. This could be helpful when you have extensive playlists because of how sensitive the scroll button gets.

I swear this was just asked the other day. Do you know of the JTF (Jump to File) window? Press J and see what happens when you enter in a few letters into the "Search for text" box.

actually clicking in the list and then typing will do exactly what is needed. doing it in the playlist will break shortcuts, etc

it would be nice to have a simple button to press on the playlist scroll bar so that you can click and scroll down one, just moving the bar or scrolling with the mouse moves it around so that its hard to find. i suppose i could click and then use the arrow keys, but a simple button would be more convient, however small, and it seems like a really simple request.
