Aol
OK, i apologize if this has been answered before but i looked for 1/2 hour before i posted this.
OK i have had a shoutcast station working for over a year flawlessly. I just noticed that people who are on my site in aol can't listen. they have to open my stream through Internet Exlporer or another browser. When they attempt to listen in aol it tries to open my stream in aol media player which doesnt work... Is there a way around this? Medina |

Are you using a direct link to the DNAS like:
http://123.45.6789:8000 Or are you using: http://123.45.67.89:8000/listen.pls You could always use a different launch file if the others are causing problems such as .asx or the like. I don't use AOL but I know their habits and it's hard to know why this is occuring so the easiest way is to prevent it totally by using a launch file specifically formatted for a certian media player. 1001. Do a search for .asx here in the forums. I posted a sample file in here not too long ago that works great for me, several others have begin using it as well.
If I was at my home PC I could just paste a copy of it, but not home
