Final Fantasy VII - Dirge of Cerberus

Quote:
Square Enix announced a new PS2 RPG called Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus, a sequel / spinoff of Final Fantasy VII

Seems square can't leave the FFVII universe alone,after Advent Children and what have you, I thought Square didn't do follow up's to their FF games, seems they forgot about that lately.....

I suppose they're targetting people like me who only bought FFVII (as it was introduced on the PS1) and who really enjoyed the characters, storyline, and general playability, but have never been intrested to buy FFVIII or onwards.

some things should be left alone....

it seems like the VG market is so bad that only sequels will sell well....square has gone the way of capcom.

.........?.

Haven't played FFX-2, it's definitely on my to-buy list but I have WAY too many games to finish first

I think that Square-enix is beginning to over do it with these prequels to FFVII

It's not a prequel it's a sequel.

Pre= Before the original
Se= After the original

Or something like that.

They need to make another Final Fantasy Online and base it off the FF7 world, battle system, and storyline.

no 2 Final Fantasy games are alike (Except maybe FFX and FFX-2)

so if you played FF7 from the start without playing any other FF game then you'll be fine

However, if you never played FF4, you're done for.
