Port Closed =.=
How do I open my port.. Or use one that is open..
====================== "My Ip" is Closed Reason Given: Connection timed out More about this error: This means that you are most likely behind a firewall, this error esentially says that you and your computer aren't there. You might also check to be sure that your ip is "My Ip", if it is not then you are behind some sort of proxy. ====================== Anyone know how to solve this ? |

What port do you want to open? What router do you use?

More likely if you are on a network you need forward your portbase to the LAN IP address of the PC with shoutcast.

First off, do you have a static IP (one that does not change) or is it synamically assigned (changes after reboots and such)?
Also, try a portscan: http://www.radiotoolbox.com/online_t...theygetin.php. You can find out if your port is open and accessable. 1001. FM - Megarock Radio - St. Louis Since 1998! Tune In Now! Corporate Radio Sucks! No suits, all rock! |

if you are in a school network forget it. Many have tried and failed. You just don't have the ability to get the proper ports forwarded to your LAN IP address.
