Adding second SC to Linux server?

I have a Linux server providor running one instance of SC for me.

How does he setup a second SC server (port) from the same box?

Do we install a second app, or can we run two servers from one app?

If we must install a second app, how do you make both run at the same time? Please give detailed instructions as I'm not the server admin, I will be forwarding your answer to them.
