what is the best connection I should go for

I want to broadcast may radio using shoutcast and I have 512 DSL bout going to change my internet connection and I want to perches connection witch is best for broadcasting radio
The reason going to change because I heard if upstream of my internet speed be more I can broadcast for more listeners

Is that information correct?
And what is the best connection I should go for
