Can't listen right

I have my shoutcast up and running and it's broadcasting. But, when I try to connect to it from another computer on the network, by typing in http://myip:8000/listen.pls it starts playing the song that I am broadcasting, but it's not playing the same part of the song that I'm broadcasting. It starts listening from a different point in the broadcast, sort of like my broadcast was being recorded and somehow the listening computer is just playing back the recording. In simple terms, I am unable to listen to a live broadcast. Can anyone help me?????
