On Demand Issues

Hello all.

Let me first apoligize if this problem has already been answered elsewhere. I see alot of frustration on this board and I'd rather not add to that... I have enough drama in my real life lol

Now, heres my issue.

I have SHOUTcast running great. http://prot0fein.servemp3.com:8000

My issue is with the on demand feature. Now as I understand it, when there are files uploaded to my content directory (in my case D:\SHOUTcast\content), a playlist is automatically generated.

If I use my browser and go to http://prot0fein.servemp3.com:8000/content shouldn't it display a list of songs in my content directory?

If I type the exact path of the file http://prot0fein.servemp3.com:8000/content/DJ Trajic -Headbangers.pls (please copy and paste the link to test... i notice the url didn't totally grab the entire line) it works perfectly. But the way I understood everything was that a playlist was created for people to browse thru and to choose which song they want played.

Am I just being stupid and this is working properly? If so I'm sorry for wasting everyones time... i'm overtired as it is. BTW, if anyone would be so kind enough as to test all the links i've posted here that would be great. I've been leaving my shoutcast on lately.

Nope.

If you want to do that, just upload the files to a webserver. On Demand is made to work with direct links only.
