Anyone want to make an awsome group effort skin?

Hi all.
I was just wondering if anyone wants to help me make an awsome skin. It would be a group effort (you would get credit). I already have a good basic skin made but it only has a skined main window, eq window and playlist window.
I am an amateur (I only use a skinning program).

yeah yeah Mr Jones. I just think that two heads are better that one and if I have more opinions, chanses are it'l be a better skin!
oh, and about a pic, I will try to get one on here by the end of the week -- I curently am not working on my own computer.

but to give you an idea, I has mainly dark grey bg, and I changed the spectrum analyzer and eq bars to look awsome, and the text is asorted colours from the main text (green), to the playlist text (blue). one thing That I want to get changed is the buttons, though.

Sounds to me like you've just altered the base skin a little, and now you want someone else to finish it for you.

When you make a reply to this thread, instead of using the "quick reply" function down the bottom, pres the yellow "post a reply" button. It will take you to a more sophisticated reply screen - and from there you can attach a picture

Wow, when you first described it, I wasn't sure whether to believe you, but wow, you really did change the spectrum analyzer and eq bars to look awesome. Can't wait to see what this looks like when it's done, good luck finding somebody to help.

We'd be happy to help you with your skin. We love helping people make skins. But, the one catch is you have to make it yourself. Trust me when I say that it's much more rewarding and will come out better in every way imaginable.

On a side note, i'm kind of dissapointed because I thought this was going to be a real group skin. That always sounded fun to me.

Never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of tapes hurtling down the highway.

That demon creature or whatever it is looks scary. Especially now that he's so angry at being indiscriminiately plastered with tutti-frutti coloured boxes by quickskin.exe

Skinning is a creative thing. So my suggestion is that you get creative. Because getting a quickskin.exe program to make half of your skin for you and then asking someone else to help you get the other half done isn't very creative at all. Making a skin from scratch, using your own graphics and your own ideas and your hard work can be frustrating and hard at times, but in the end you'll find it a much more rewarding way to skin, you can count on that

We'll always be here to help, but only with a skin where most of the effort came from you - and not from a generic quickskin.exe type program.

Sow a thought, reap an action; sow an action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character; sow a character, reap a destiny.

Hi all!
I have done MAJOR improvements to the skin. In a week or so I should have it completed. Sorry if i'm not supposed to say this, but I also already added the easter egg 'mode' to the works. I also changed the windowshade modes of the main and eq windows. They change drasticly from when they are active to when they are inactive.
Thanks for everyone's input so far! I has incouraged me to continue making what will be one of the best classic skins ever!

P.S. Good guess StillWater! Yeah, it was quickskin that I used. But don't worry, I am doing a lot of work manually. By the time I'm done, it will be mostly hand-made.
