Visualizations that appear automatically
Is there any way to have Winamp always launch with the visualization window (full-screen) in the foreground, so that you have to click out of it before you see the playlist, etc? It's a pain having to go to through the menu to Start Visualization every time I play a file. The visualization I currently use is MilkDrop.

Prefs > Plug-ins > 'Auto execute visualization plug-in on playback'
As for Milkdrop, set also: Prefs > Visualization > select 'MilkDrop' > click 'Configure button' tab Common Settings > check 'Start Fullscreen' You can also start the visualization plugin by double-clicking the spectrum analyzer in the main window. [edit] Ok, I wasn't thinking ![]() You want fullscreen visualization on Winamp launch... Try the above options in combination with Time Restore & Autoplay. Though in that case, Winamp will also start playing on startup. I'm not sure that's what you want... Good Winamp plugins by Joonas, DrO and shaneh. If you're bored go here or, if the boredom is more serious, here. Last edited by siebe83; 16th November 2004 at 19:42. |
