connection refused, but now for my ftp also!!!

I am getting the connection refused error when trying to broadcast. The server is not seeing my computer or my IP. I have had an ftp running for a while now it cant be seen either when I try top acces it. Is this because of something my ISP has started doing?

what info do you need I have had an ftp site that was working fine now I can not see my IP from outside my netowrk. The shoutcast server on my IP cannot be seen either. I have a router and it is configured correctly for port forwarding I have done it several times before. Since I got the connection refused error (which in the help pages it says most likely is becasue you ISP uses a proxy of some sort) I am wondering if it is possible that my ISP all the sudden started using something that would hide my IP address from incoming requests. I have done all the trouble shooting and am almost 100% sure I have set everything up correctly. If the problem is my ISP using a web cache or proxy is there a way around it or am I screwed since it is out of my hands.

If they blocked your ports, the only thing you can do is outsource your DNAS. You can still push a live stream out to it even with incoming ports blocked.

Why would they block my ports? I have not had anything downloaded or uploaded from my ftp in abotu 6 months. Wouldnt they notify me first if I was exceeding some kind od bandwidth limitation?

Also when i use radio toolbox port scanner I get this message:

Reason Given: Connection refused
More about this error: This essentially means that the port is open to the internet but has no services associated with it. There is no firewall protection on this port.

I t says no services associated with it but when I connect the server to the output source(Winamp) it shows it is running and configured fine. The problem is stillthat my Ip http://myserver:myport/ can't be seeI wonder if the IP I get from whatismyip.com is my real IP. it is also the same Ip that my router shows me having, so I would think the IP I am using would be correct. ports forwarded correctly and everything. No firewall issues. AAUUGGHHHHH
