Skinning Bug

Not sure how to even search the forum for this or what to tell anyone in particular, so I'll just list the details of the bug and hope it finds it's way to the necessary people

I'm running 5.04 (I'll be upgrading to 5.06 shortly but I'm sure that won't actually help)

All non-default skins built upon the new 5.0 format (hence not 2.51 compatible skins) are giving script errors when I play the following stream

mms://160.79.128.12/trance/.wma

This is a digitally imported stream grabbed from an asx file. I would use the winamp streams from digitally imported but my company has blocked those with the firewall.

Example skins to try this with are
LayerONE_v1_3
Multipass
Resurgence

The exact error given is the following
Guru Meditation #0013.00000344.131 Division by zero

I know this is an issue with the skins and not winamp, however I think skinners need to be aware of the issue.

Not sure if it's a bug with the stream path itself or with something within the wma file (i believe it's the previous and not the latter however).

i can venture to guess that the problem is the custom VUs that the skins use...though im not exactly sure why the problem is triggered by that particular stream...

ill look into (maybe) if i get a chance, but dont count on it.

easier solution:
-play the digitally imported stream through the media library (under streaming media > internet radio), and it doesnt cause any problems

it'S working with my hals eye and h2o liquid without guru error. grayz has the error, but plays it.

as I said I cannot listen to the streams through the media library, as those are blocked by my office's firewall,

i believe the stream is causing the error because of the "/." contained in the information.

find the URL of the stream and input it manually into winamp.

well actually that's what i've already done, and to the point what is causing the problem.

The stream's URL is mms://160.79.128.12/trance/.wma

It's a .wma stream but there is no playlist file to associate (that winamp can read anyways), i actually pulled the URL directly from the asx file

the only part I added was the "/.wma" (because thats the only way winamp can know what file typing i'm looking to stream, as it is this is a hack to let me listen to windows media streams through winamp, one of these days i should write an asx plugin for winamp

Those are not asx links. Those are pls links. Pulled from winamp playlists.

If you go to DI and click on a Windows Media Player link to a stream you will pull the asx link.

http://www.digitallyimported.com/wma/hardtrance.asx is the asx link.
mms://160.79.128.12/hardtrance/.wma is the link pulled from the file.

Thanks everybody who posted links to skins that do not have the bugs and congrats to the skinners who are not having the guru error.
