Hard to find Rock and Roll bands and their music

I'm a new member and haven't used forums of any sort much at all. My question is After using the Winamp search feature to find anything relating to Robin Trower and finding nada, are there any other options to find the 'harder to find' artist/music? Thanks. Adios.
