Friends say they, shoutcast says otherwise

Okay, my friends are telling me they cant connect to my station....they link is http://192.168.1.47:8000 .
I dunno whats wrong. Please help me. The Server gives no errors what so ever. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

wrong link, you are giving out the ip number to your router. check www.whatismyip.com for your real ip number and don't forget to open ports 8000 and 8001 in your router config.

umm can i ask a question, i have everything setup and running in like 2 minutes. itss all good and all but i have only port 8000 open in my router. what's the 8001 for?

8001 is used if someone outside your router wants to broadcast to your server.

i can't find out where to change the ports on my router to 8000 and 8001... how would i do something like that?

Holla, look in your router's manual for "Port Redirection" or "Port Forwarding".
