Omens (do you believe in them?)

My story: I woke up today @ 6:00 am so I could have a good breakfast, make finishing touches on my notecard, and then head off to take my CalcII final and arive nice and early to converse with my peers and maybe add some information to my notecard that a peer had that I didn't, and verse visa. I have my breakfast, have my notecard, head out the door feeling confident, get in my car, and turn it on. It sounds sicker than...well something really sick. I think to my self "maybe it will run better once I start to drive it, let it get the gas flowing and such." I get about halfway out the driveway when it just dies. It won't start up again.

What a great way to start the first day of finals huh? Especially considering my first one is my hardest all week (CalcII). What an omen huh? (bam! topic question! like that? I bet you do!).

Luckilly the final wasn't that bad. I got maybe a high C or low B I think. There were a few easy ones, and few that I could start and get to a point on, then got stuck.

So what do you people think about omens and fate and all that stuff?
