Check your configuration file and make sure the title display is enabled for at least one song. Also check the DSP plug in (in Winamp) and make sure title streaming is also enabled in there.

Is "TitleFormat" commented out in the sc_serv.ini file? If not, what is it set to?
As a note, occassionally, the very first song played after starting the server, and connecting via DSP, won't have its data sent. Confused me until it went to the next track and then the data showed up. |

Sorry, I'm still relatively knew, just offering what worked for me.
From reading some old forum posts, add the comment back to the TitleFormat. Check to make sure you're "Nullsoft SHOUTcast Source DSP v1.8.2b" in your options > DSP/Effect. then, I'd use Output 2, and add all the settings again, and make sure that "Enable Title Updates" is checked, and "Auto" is checked for both, then connect to your DNAS. Basically, you start from scratch and try again. I read a post that if you use a plugin to let you multiple DSPs, that it messes stuff up. You didn't mention anything about it, so I doubt this is the case. Good luck... |
