Well I have a SEGA Master System II, with is like the rival of the NES (also 8 bit, which it proclaims in big font on the front like it's so special). Actually the *newest* console I own is a SEGA Mega Drive (SEGA Genesis to you americans, 16 bit console).

Funny how in the picture above, the "computer" is much smaller than the "expansion unit". Those were the days.

From my pre-IBM clone days, I have the afore mentioned Sinclair.

I have a Cosmac Elf. 1802 processor, Hex keypad, 16K RAM.

I have the Sears version of the Intellivision. Hmmm... I wonder if it still works...

I also have a complete working Mattel Aquarius Z80 system with 32K memory, the cartridge interface, game cartidges, gamepads, and tape interface.

Also have a Commodore 128, two 1571 drives, 64k expanded video memory, 1902 monitor, mouse, 300 baud modem and shit loads of software.

Lastly, I have a Kaypro CPM 'mainframe'. I has four 16K RAM boards (256 Byte x 1 bit chips). It uses hard sectored 5.25" floppys. (Try finding some of those!)

It sounds like some of this would be old enough to fabricate parts for it from scratch.

I mean, a few parts from RadioShack and you have a new motherboard circa '75, right?

lol
