Forward domain to connect to my IP?
I have a website at (www.bowzer.net), but right now Im switching to a new hosting provider. They allow ssh shell access, but have said they don't allow shoutcast streams because it would use too much bandwidth for one single user. Is there a way I could set it up so the shoutcast server to be on their side, but it just forwards people to connect to my home ip?
Basically I want to be able to connect to www.bowzer.net:8000 but that address would forward people to my ip at home (So no bandwidth is being used at the hosting company). |

I got it working.
Under the control panel of my website I added a subdomain (radio.bowzer.net) that forwards to an address I created at no-ip.com, so radio.bowzer.net forwards to bowzer.servemp3.com:8000 (which is accuatally my ip). So people just connect to radio.bowzer.net.... pretty sweet! |
