The following is an image of 3 separate skins I've been working on in the past and that I found lying around on my hard drive while (finally) finishing up the etch a sketch skin (that should be done in about a week). Which (if any) do you think look promising? I like the middle one, i think.

Holy parachute Batman!, it's Rocco's Modern Life. Haven't seen that for ages. I would choose one of the top two -- I've seen enough DOS-ish skins, and there just doesn't seem to be much of an upside when you're finished.

That second skin is exactly the kind of problem I have. I was just sitting there one day when I thought, wow, tombstones like in a military cemetary would make awesome EQ bars. And I opened up gimp and made some cool looking EQ bars. Then i thought that I could put in the POW/MIA symbol and make this into some kind of war or antiwar skin (don't feel like getting into that discussion. this is simply about the skin). Then I said, oh crap! I ran out of cool ideas.

So then, I started making the rocko skin and the cbuttons came out okay, while the street and sidewalk didn't (most likely because I didn't draw them myself). The dos skin was one day when scandisk was running and I said, wow wouldn't that be an interesting skin. Unfortunately, that's the end of all of them unless I get some good ideas. I really want to finish the war one. I finished the media library of etch a sketch. However, i have no ideas for winshade, so once again, i might end up doing nothing for a month.

And then, I realized that going to dunkin donuts for a cup of coffee this late was probably not the best idea. woah
