mic problems in stereomix

I´ve read the faq but it doesn´t say much about my problem. anyway, when I select stereomix as recording input the music is fine and all. and when I press the talk button the music goes down and the mic goes up. but when I talk I have to scream to even be heard. Here´s a pic of my settings, maybe someone might have a solution:

and for you who doesn´t speak swede, linjeingang means line-input and mikrofon means mic.

How about adjusting the mic volume...

I´ve raised it as high as it gets in the santa cruz(my soundcard) control panel. That made a difference, but it´s still to low.

Its also low on my soundcard. Try seeing if you have a mic boost option. I ended up using a mixer to boost the mic
