see if you can change sound output by:

in winamp:
ctrl+p
plugins > output
configure directsound
under "device" tab > use dropdown box.

And to play two different things, you would have to have multiple instances of winamp running.

You could just copy your current winamp files to a new dir, eg.
c:\program files\winamp\instance2\

It depends on what features you want.
You will need winamp.exe (winamp dir) and out_ds.dll, in_mp3.dll (plugins dir) for basic functionality. A descriptive list of all other default plugins/features can be found here.

I don't recommend that you copy any of the config files over (winamp.ini, studio.xnf, gen_ml.ini, etc). Just let the 2nd instance of Winamp 5.08 create them automatically.

make sure "allow multiple instances" is checkmarked in:
Winamp Prefs > General Preferences.

then just open the new 2nd instance/install and go to:
Prefs > Plugins > Output > DirectSound > config
and setup the Output Device accordingly.
More out_ds config settings here

not enough options

I only get the HD rear output cannot select any other otput

I checked with Intel.com and I guess it has to be programmed

http://www.intel.com/cd/ids/develope...044.htm?page=5

so you can get all the options since windows by default doesnt recognize them.

I have the Giga-Byte 8I915 duo-pro (that uses Intel hi-def audio) and I can tell you I can do it. I had to install the c-media azilla codec. Then, in the control panel, under "CMI audio config," I had to select the checkbox for "Enable Multiple Streaming" under device settings. After a reset, it worked (in the bios I had front panel audio set to AC97, which also had to be set to HD Audio.) So, I guess it depends on your motherboard manufacturer.
