Song endings skipping
I'm using shoutcast just to stream within my house.
When a song gets to its end, and winamp sits there doing nothing, it keeps closing the connection to my clients, which immediately restart the stream causing the buffered bit to play again. I already set: AutoDumpUsers=0 AutoDumpSourceTime=0 On the log it looks like this: <02/07/05@14:28:41> [dest: 192.168.1.103] connection closed (35 seconds) (UID: 403)[L: 1]{Bytes: 256000}(P: 0) <02/07/05@14:28:41> [dest: 192.168.1.103] starting stream (UID: 405)[L: 2]{A: x}(P: 0) <02/07/05@14:28:57> [dest: 192.168.1.103] connection closed (34 seconds) (UID: 404)[L: 1]{Bytes: 256000}(P: 1) <02/07/05@14:28:59> [dest: 192.168.1.103] starting stream (UID: 406)[L: 2]{A: x}(P: 1) <02/07/05@14:29:16> [dest: 192.168.1.103] connection closed (35 seconds) (UID: 405)[L: 1]{Bytes: 256000}(P: 0) <02/07/05@14:29:16> [dest: 192.168.1.103] starting stream (UID: 407)[L: 2]{A: x}(P: 0) <02/07/05@14:29:22> [dest: 192.168.1.103] connection closed (23 seconds) (UID: 406)[L: 1]{Bytes: 259380}(P: 1) Is there anyway to avoid this? I tried setting a silent mp3 to be the BackupFile before I set the AutoDumpSourceTime to 0, but that didn't help oddly enough. I seem to recall this also has the tendency to cut off the beginning of the next song sometimes. When I don't stop playing songs though, everything works perfectly, and beginnings and endings work fine. In general, is there any way for me to tell Shoutcast server not to use that 1meg buffer (which is causing my music to be desynced from my computer and causing me all these problems when the source stops)? It really seems pretty pointless over my LAN to be doing it, and it is causing tons of headaches. |
