New Skin In Process

Well, finally I decided to use a graphic program and try how it goes...and this is the result(untils the moment)...
I Still have few ideas for the other windows...
my next drawing will be suerly a roach

nice touch uh?...but you tell me!

The black holes look like they need more depth, if they are holes. Maybe try drawing in the tops of the bricks just to give it a little perspective. Other than that it looks good so far, I like it.

The EQ bars are suposed to be fat and tiny aerosol paint Cans that paints a slash in the wall...but I find it really difficult to get rid of that EQ sliders buttons...they just annoy me

Play pause buttons look a bit blah, you could spice them up a bit. Just a suggestion. I think it looks retro as is.

By the way, kudos on tiling the bricks in the EQ. Very impressive. But I know how much of a pain it must be to try to make sliders for that. I got that they were spray cans, and I think they look okay.

They don't really look like spray cans, I just gathered that from context. I don't really have any good suggestions to replace that though. Eq sliders are a pain. I would almost duggest drawing in the rest of the can so it looks kind of like the one in the posbar, but then you'd need to add some kind of foreground object to hide the fact that they get cut off at the bottom. I have no good ideas, so don't feel compelled to listen to me

Well,maybe I can fix that aerosol cans so they don't look so square...I'll try it...
about the playpaus, I really have no ideas...now i'm working in the 3D walls...
I thought of making the cans bigger but I have no ideas about how to hide them...maybei could have an idea :S...

Well, I did some work today(just because I finished my english exams...)
I need some help, Do you think that I should animate the Cbuttons and the Titlebar Buttons?...i think that (as they are graffittis) they should not move...maybe adding a roach, or a spider...but i dunno...
also I think it would be nice to change the Posbar Scroll
but you Tell me...Here's a Preview...

I think it looks awesome. I love skins that are designed to go across the screen like that. I think it shows a lot of creativity.

I would animate them. What I would do is draw the pressed states from scratch, so that when you click them they sort of squiggle, like my Teen Girl Squad skin. However, if you want to do something a bit more realistic, it looks like it wouldn't be a stretch to have the paint drip more when you click them, or somthing. Or if the cursor is like a spray can, you can have more graffiti appear in front of the buttons. You have some options

Great job so far!

For the titlebars i "scratched" the title with white paint...but i dunno if it would be a nice idea for the C buttons...I also thought of adding a little insect, so the insect move, not the aerosol painting...

Here's my work so far...I started the Playlist...Still no ideas for the WS but main window is finished and EQ almost finished...
I recomend to use it one window nex to other in this order
Main - EQ - PL
I was thinking about the other windows and maybe it would be nice to make the other windows as if they are the sky...

Well, The Beta version is too big for this forum...So I'll publis a preview and maybe later the beta version...

I like what you done with it so far, but might i recommend Using windows for the on/auto buttons on the equalizer and possibly a door between the sliders. That's the only thing i feel that is perventing it from being complete.

The blue thumb tacks/nails, they definitely need togo. Not necessary go but positively a bit darker or well gray would do the trick. Other then that i find to like it.

OH@ And one of those menus to the playlist has to be a news paper box!

You put in a quarter (or a dollar maybe, if it's sunday) and it lets you open the door and take out a paper. They're by the roads in cities especially, and sometimes in the lobbies outside restaurants and supermarkets, I guess.

It was one chapter when Homer was returning home from Apu's Market and he's carrying a bag with food and other stuff, the dog's rope and Maggie on the other hand...
so when he wants to get a newspaper, it's a bit difficult for him but finally he get's it...and after that, he realises that in the process Maggie entered the little box...it was very funny...especially when Homer tries to send the dog for help writing the same word in a paper with some kind of Spray Cheese...

The Simpsons just aint what it use to be. But glad you guys got that straighten out. I thought it would of been perfect for the stacks, The led opens up and out comes a newspaper.

Instead of your neighbors stealing your paper, All you really have to be concerned with now is being held up at gun point.

It all makes perfect sense.
