OK, I used to have a station working a year ago, and a year before that (My interests in it peaked those times)
I -am- behind a Netgear router, but I forwarded my ports just fine. (8008-8009 and 27015-27016)
When I go here: http://www.radiotoolbox.com/online_t...ntheygetin.php
and type in the port that the station is running on, it says "a server is running on this port!"
But... when I actually go into another instance of Winamp and type in my IP:Port/Listen.pls, it times out. This has got me confused, because i -know- for sure that the port is forwarded, and open, but for some reason I can't connect. Does this make sense?
I -can- connect and listen with 192.168.0.2:8008; the /index.htm shows up in my browser.
I just performed another test. I went to www.shoutcast.com
and searched for Raven (the radio is called Raven's Radio). It found my station, has it listed, but when I click listen, it still will not let me connect. Why would I not be able to connect, but yp.shoutcast can?
