Problem with Shoutcast (of course).

OK, I used to have a station working a year ago, and a year before that (My interests in it peaked those times)

I -am- behind a Netgear router, but I forwarded my ports just fine. (8008-8009 and 27015-27016)

When I go here: http://www.radiotoolbox.com/online_t...ntheygetin.php

and type in the port that the station is running on, it says "a server is running on this port!"

But... when I actually go into another instance of Winamp and type in my IP:Port/Listen.pls, it times out. This has got me confused, because i -know- for sure that the port is forwarded, and open, but for some reason I can't connect. Does this make sense?

--edit--

I -can- connect and listen with 192.168.0.2:8008; the /index.htm shows up in my browser.

--edit--

I just performed another test. I went to www.shoutcast.com and searched for Raven (the radio is called Raven's Radio). It found my station, has it listed, but when I click listen, it still will not let me connect. Why would I not be able to connect, but yp.shoutcast can?

Your REAL ip address can only be seen by the outside world. (people the other side of your router) You, and any other computer on your router are the only ones that cant use it.

Computers on your LAN (or on your router) must use the lan ip (192.168.0.2)

Everyone else 'outside' must use your REAL ip adress.

Before (last year) I was able to connect to my IP (not LAN), which is 68.203.146.48, as well as my LAN IP (192.168.0.2).

I swear on my mother's future grave, that I could. I hope that's all it is; I'm going to find a friend to help me test it. I'll post again if I have the same problem again.

It works. That's weird. Because, the way I used to test to see if my server was working was to type in my -real- IP, and if it connected, it worked (and usually it did). Hm.. I must be going insane.

Thanks for the help
