dragging windows ONLY when clicking on title bar?

here's one thing that bugs the piss out of me when using not only winamp, but just about any new "skinned" app program.

for some reason, you can click and drag the window by clicking ANYWHERE in the window. i don't know the purpose of this, but it is VERY annoying if you are trying to seek through a song, change the volume, balance, eq settings, or any setting that you change with a bar. if you miss the bar by one of two pixels you are accidentally dragging the window.

a great option would be to make it so you can have winamp drag the windows ONLY if you click on the title bar of that window. this might seem like a minor change, but you would be surprised how many times i accidentally drag my entire winamp console off my screen when trying to turn the volume down

Right-click Winamp > Options > uncheck 'EasyMove'

But for some reason turning this option off doesn't seem to work with the modern skin (at least, not for me?).

I have the opposite feeling to you GX1327; I love the easy move function as i dont really use the buttons on the skin much so if i click on it i probably am trying to move it.

One thing that really pisses me off tho is the lack of easy move function in the Video window using modern skins. If you use a classic skin, you can click anywhere in the video window and drag it around which is good when you have a video going while you are doing something else. In the modern skins, at least all the ones i've tried, you cant do this, you have to click on the header bar of the video window to move it.

I think i might list this as a wishlist item for the next revision of winamp.

Easy Move works when dragging in video area of Video window, like it does in classic skins


Though don't get your hopes up too high, because all the members of the dev team who knew wasabi are now gone (brennan, francis, aus, mig). Maybe Tag or one of the new devs is currently in the arduous process of learning wasabi, heh? Otherwise, any modifications to wasabi (the modern skin engine/api) would require a contractual hiring of someone like Francis to implement them...

PHWOAR! I feel like i should be proud or something, i suggested something that was considered to be significant enough to put in the wishlist; plus i didnt make a fool of myself! Hazaa!!
