Line Input Broadcasting from Mac - What is the soundcard called?
Hi everyone. I know about sc_trans, but I'm trying to get a DJ live tonight who's PC is in for repairs, so he has a mac.
I've SSH'd into his box and set up sc_trans for him, but I'm not sure the name of his sound device. It's not /dev/soundcard, so I'm wondering if anyone knows the name for the line in on a G5 Mac with OSX Panther to put into his .lst file. Thanks in advance. -Mark |

Or, if anyone knows of any other good software that can do this easily for this DJ, that would be great. Last night, he had to use his old Live365 account to do it, but that was only modem quality on a 128k station
. If Live365 has an app that can do it fine, then the answer to this problem must be fairly simple? Just need the name to put in the ".lst" file. Thanks. -Mark |

still no ideas??? i have tried DSP:/dev/audio with no luck. i have also tried DSP:/dev/mixer but still have nothing. the .conf file still attempts to look for a playlist file.
