Not Hearing Any Sound

For some unknown reason when i play my winamp files i dont hear any sound what so ever. I've never had any problems like this before and i have no idea why all of a sudden i'm not hearing any sound.

I can play internet radio just fine without any problems, so if anyone out there can help me out on how to solve this problem i would greatly appreciate it

Audio works for streaming media but not local media. It looks like the the DiskWriter plug-in was inadvertently selected...

Winamp > Ctrl+P (for preferences) > Plug-ins > Output > select 'DirectSound' or 'waveOut'

Note: Usually DirectSound is suggested for WinXP or Win2000 and waveOut for Win 9x, ME or NT4 | DirectSound config tweaks

Please do not PM me for tech support. Any request for tech support through PM will be ignored.
