Automatic song resume on start-up?
Did a search on this and didn't find anything (I'm sure it's somewhere)....
Is there a plug-in or setting in Winamp that will automatically resume a playlist where you left off after quitting the program and then restarting it again? I loaded up the "Playlist 2" plug-in and selected "resume playback at Winamp startup) but that doesn't seem to work. Not sure why or if that is even the right setting. Thanks! |

The "Playlist 2" plug-in?? Never heard of it, can you post a link?
Try the Time Restore & Autoplay plug-in. If you talking about multiple playlist support, TR&A only supports Winamp default playlist (the one auto saved on Winamp close). |

I guess it is the Album List 2 plug-in not Play List 2......

I just tried the Time Restore & Autoplay and it didn't work (or at least how I wanted it to work).
What I often do is enqueue a playlist on the fly and then over night shut down Winamp or my computer. I was looking for a plug-in that would restore where I left off, but it sounds like I would have to save the playlist first? |

Well, actually I don't have a clue how that plug-in is supposed to work. I created a playlist and named it, played a couple of songs and shut down Winamp. After restarting, the last song briefly showed up on the display and then went blank. Nothing.
I tweaked a few settings but nothing acted differently. Hmmmmmm..... |

If I understand your post correctly, you just want the same playlist loaded on Winamp startup as the one you had when you exited Winamp. That should happen by default.
See if this post is of any help: http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....78#post1581478 (especially point 4) Additionally, you can use TRAP to make Winamp automatically play where you left on Winamp startup. [edit] Fixed it...

In other words, you can use TRaP to trap the song you want to play at start up.

If his playlist isn't auto-saving, that is. Then as long as nothing is set to read-only, TRAP will work for him (or is it her) - gravy - just fine. Don't email or PM me concerning Winamp.
