Sound Volume Issues

Greetings!

I just got Shoutcast running on a Gentoo Linux box. Streaming MP3s from another machine works fine. However, I plugged in my radio to the line in of my other machine (Windows 2000), and while I can hear the tunes on my laptop, they are VERY quiet.

I have all the audio options cranked, and I am using teh Shoutcast DSP plug-in on Winamp.

Any suggestions for a poor slob like me?

Thanks,
Daryl

are u sure the "Input" is set to winamp, and not to "Soundcard Input"
and can you provide a link to your stream?

My input device is "Soundcard Input". When I set it to Winamp, no data gets sent to the Shoutcast server.

Please, feel free to direct me in the correct configuration for this. I am quite new to the whole streaming audio world.

As for a link to the stream, unfortunately the machines are in an isolated development environment, and not available to the outside world.

Thanks,
Daryl
