Having trouble setting up ShoutCast
Hello, if anyone could help me out I would be forever grateful. I've tried for 2 whole days to figure this out, but still stuck on one problem.
Here's what I've done so far... 1.Downloaded Winamp 2.Downloaded both plug-ins 3.Configured the plug-ins over and over again... My results so far... Results have been fine upto the point where 127.0.0.1 tries to connect to my computer for my yp information... now here's what it spits out after so long on my server monitor..... "03/23/05@02:57:57> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (404 Cannot see your station/computer from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache)" I have tried shutting my firewall as well as my avg completely off, still no luck... I have no idea how to disable internet sharing or isp cache.... Anyhow, i hope someone can help me, also, my computer is connected to a lynksys router, i don't know if that makes any difference or not, but I've heard alot of horror stories about routers... Thanks to anyone that has a few minutes to help me out with this dillemma... Moose |
