click thru windowed visualization

i searched for hours through the forums for my answer but did not find it. lots of people requested a "click thru" version of avs. i have a junk 2MB matrox mystique card for my second video card and onboard video for primary. when i stretch the windowed version of avs to cover my secondary monitor at 15% opacity, the visualization still runs smooth. like others before me, we want to be able to click through this vis window and everyone says it isn't possible.

my question:

what visualization plugin has both "Alpha blending" controls (like avs) and a "pass mouse clicks" controls (like lucidamp)?
i want to stretch a vis across my monitor and still click through it.
thanks for your help.

you dont need to do that!

enable overlay mode and tick the box to set desktop to overlay color, and VOILA! avs desktop.

cool in its own respect, but i have no control (that i know of) over the opacity of the effects. further clarification or an alternative is needed. i want the visualization to be visible, but only at about 15% opacity. i tried what you suggested and i could see the visualization but it was at 100% opacity which is too distracting. if this question has already been answered, please give reference to the specific post.

i aready poked around in the interface, but it doesn't give an option to change the appearence of the visualization window. i think one of the earlier versions of lucidamp did have that option but did not have the "pass mouse clicks" option.

i have faith though. there seem to be enough people out there that want this option that someone could make some cash for developing it. i know at least 3 other users besides myself would probably pay $10 for the plugin. that's an instant $40 for the guy who develops it and another $10 everytime someone else wants it too. so someone get busy. i taped a $10 bill to my monitor to send to you when your done.

if you have winamp5 you can do this without a plugin.

1. open up winamp and switch to a moderm skin

2. right click the window you want to ajust

3. go to "window settings" choose "opacity" and click custom

4. ajust as needed, and set lucidamp to make it clickthrough.

I may be confused as to what lucidamp allows you to do though. (cant remember if it works with modern skins)

here's the problem(s):
i have an old crappy version of winamp to run on my old crappy computer so i can't use 5 or modern skins. even if i did, lucidamp doesn't include the visualization window in its list of windows to alter. thanks for trying though and thanks for your time. anyone else have any thoughts? i'm still searching for an answer on this one.
