Nieka said he is "talking" about possible Open Source with Coolplayer, which "might" include the MAD decoder. If you look back a few updates, Nieka was talking about using the MPG123 decoder in Coolplayer. Yeah, cause the problem is that Nieka would have to release the source code if he made coolplayer with MAD.
