I dunno, I guess I could have. But yeah, I'd rather not have spambots attacking my inbox, and I heard that it helped to not hyperlink to it directly. Now that I think about it though, it doens't make much sense. Is it true?

Well, thats kinda fucked up. I'll have to play around with that. Anyone have any ideas what could be happening? Also, can somebody who has Opera or some other popular browser check it out for me?

To get an idea, you should at least start checking the CSS with the jigsaw at w3c.org... here is the result I got:

Most everybody would realize that goooglemail.com == gmail.com and that he wrote it out "fully" to fool spambots and idiots.

Well, I validated the CSS, and got it to be fine. Than, I went to do the HTML, and it couldn't do it properly, because the first line wasn't a Doctype Declaration. In the file however, it is, but in the source code, its not. Why? Because, Geocities puts a whole bunch of shit in at the top for no apparent reason. So, I did it with the file saved on my computer, and when I do it like that, Its perfectly fine HTML 4.01 Transitional. So, the HTML is valid except for geocities 2 cents, and the CSS is fine as well. This is really messed up.

Yes, but you don't need to validate the document with html, you can validate the css file separatly...

Validate what you want, but we won't validate your existence here.

I did validate the CSS file seperately, it said it was fine.
This is pissing me off, I'm starting a new thread for this. |

I'd be interested in finding out what popular websites actually do validate. |

Yes, but Deviant Art doesn't follow the recommendation of not using tables for layout.

Well, I consider every site in XHTML to be quite new, I don't know what you mean about that zootm?
Deviant Art uses XHTML 1.0 it starts off good with divs.. but once the tricky layout starts, it's tables all the way.
