All-in-one backup plugin

I think one downside to computer programs in general is that when the computer crashes or gets scrambled by a file system error, virus, hacker, etc. important settings and information related to the operation of programs is lost.

It's pretty easy to backup Winamp data, I don't know the files off the top of my head but there's the ini files, plugin dlls, probably some registry entries, and the media library. That's the important stuff at least. I was thinking it might be a good idea for someone to throw together a little plugin that would copy all these files into a zip file or just an external directory along with creating an instruction file or batch file for how to restore the files. Plain english stuff to let people backup their settings and media library.

Right now I do this with a batch file and a backup program, but most people just end up loosing their settings since they don't know how to even make a batch file (I didn't either, but DJegg made one for me).

This really belongs in the core I think, but seeing as that won't happen since it's in no way necessary, I thought a plugin would be more feasable.
