My first (decent!) skin...

Hey. Heres a quick shot my first serious attempt at skinning. Its only in the works at the moment and so its not much too look at yet but I was hoping I could get some feedbak and ideas on the layout and stuff. Its loosely based on the game Halo 2. I wanna keep everythin transparent like that but I think it may be a bit to much at the momment. I already worked out sliders so dont worry about that. Got no idea what im gonna do for text and buttons tho...

Halo has a pretty distinctive alien text, doesn't it? (I haven't played it.) You could make the buttons looks kind of like that.

Who is the milkman? What is the purpose of the goggles?

it acually does not show any alien text in the game but i think in the halo 2 booklet there is some.
And that outline of where hes going to put the buttons and what not look familiar.

Yeh I've been considering symbols or sumthing. And the positioning does look like a lot of skins but thats mainly cuz theirs not much leniency to work with. As it is, im kinda intersectin buttons. And im still trying to master photoshop so im starting small. Nothing fancy. Yet...

WAAAAAAAAAY too dark. Viewed on my moniter, it basically looks like a black rectangle with a white sunshineish streak in it.
