When accessing MP3's across the network (through HTTP, for example), it would be really nice to have two features:
1) Parse the ID3 header so the title/artist scrolls on the display rather than "http://www.blah.com/files/mp3/blah.mp3" 2) Install a filetype/MIME type into Internet Explorer/Netscape that allows appending to the current playlist. For example, audio/x-mpegurl can call "winamp %1", but audio/x-mpegurls should call "winamp /add %1" |
