This is the wrong place (Winamp discussions) for this spam. I am in a good mood so I'll move it to Music-o'rama.

Why do we (the regulars) have to put up with this spam.

spam = spam and not allowed according to the rules

advertising isn't welcome anywhere on this board

Each Thursday a new show on Celtica Radio with Darkwave music.

You dont actually mention how you lost your arm. I will check your music out tomorrow when I have the chance to.

Is advertising a group in the music forum spam though? Fair enough if its been posted in the wrong forum, but its moved here to its rightful place.

What I don't get is, how come this is spam, and yet there are two other threads, and probably more, in this very forum promoting music created by members that are not spam?

http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....hreadid=212714
http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....hreadid=212972

How come they aint spam?

Is it because themachine just signed up to post this, is it because he's a noob?

The whole ethos originally behind music o rama was exactly for people to showcase stuff they had worked on, discuss music, discuss audio products etc.

themachine appears to be a musician just as much as the next person, he's just new to these forum, if he's asking you to buy his latest CD from amazon then I can see where you might be coming from, asking you to listen to his music and get a bit of publicity is a different matter, give it a listen you might like it and even play it on your station, who knows.

Skudpuppetz

Hey guys.

First off, i lost my arm because Johny the guitarist, asked me "What age are you?" i didnt really know so chris said: "ets cut off your arm and count the rings"......yeh. Not really funny, bit of a premature ejaculation if i may so boldly use that technical term.

Second. Thanks for sticking up for me dudes. Nice. Were just trying to get publicity in what ever forms we can. Posting in forums is one of the methods we are using. And actualy, its proving to boost our traffic coming to our site quite substantialy. So after noticing the benifits of this type of promotion we were like....lets go try advertise on other music related sites. So we were, and trust me, reading the rules and regulations for a forum once is alli can handle. So i didnt read the rules on this site. Didnt notics that this would be classed as spaming.

Anyway,

Thanks people.
