This is a testimonial thread to what shopping on the internet can do to people. I'll offer background later, but for now...I let the image of my most recent online purchase speak for itself.

Actually, (though anime-style) that is the unofficial mascot for japanese Tohato-brand Habanero Snacks. She was created by fan artist Shigatake as a tribute. Her name is Habanero-tan.

I carry a container of habanero powder with me everywhere I go, you might say I am addicted to extremely hot foods. And I do like anime. So when I did an image search for "habanero" on google and this girl popped up, I was intrigued. She's on the toilet because (as people who love hot foods know) eating too much spicy food can cause indigestion...of a painful sort. Because she loves the snacks, she spends much time on the toilet--you might say it's her trademark.
