I noticed that the other day. I microwave them for 15 seconds, and it's still not even warm.
Poptarts are meant to be toasted, though.

Really...Put it in the damn toaster...That's why they're made the way they are...

Microwaves are left to only warm-up sausage and buiscuts and pancakes...

The smores ones, or all pop tarts? I could see that happening with smores ones because they have marshmallow in them, but I put in blueberry ones for 15 seconds and they come out around room temperature.
Maybe my microwave just blows.

Plus, they're called POP Tarts...You can't make them pop in any way if you put them in a microwave, making the worthwhile name null and void...

I bet they'd pop if you microwaved them long enough

microwaves heat the water molecules in the food... i don't think there's a lot of water in a pop-tart... which explains why microwaving doesn't work very well...

The "3 second" instruction on Poptart boxes is generally a load of crap. It takes 3 seconds for most microwaves to "come up to speed" and just begin warming. I cook my Poptarts 12 seconds (for two), and they come out perfect.

Pop Tarts are good if you're in a rush for something...

...but when I actually have time to sit down for breakfast, I would agree; Toaster Strudels do own...
