Where did MASSANOVA.COM go?
I've been out of the online music scene for awhile then got all amped to listen to a certain music station which used to be listed here at Winamp when it comes to my attention that it's no longer here. After three days of going through all the old memories in my brain it comes to me in a dream the name of the station. I've searched all over the internet it's like it has been erased. Whichever government organization did this forgot 1 site a very little DJ site which there is another like myself who loves the music
Topic quote taken from @Dmusic Funksaw's quote "How, then, to solve the *content* problem? Most digital music is automated - hell, Massanova.com , one of my favorites, has no DJs. Even the request system is computerized. It works, yes, but I can't listen to it for more than a couple of hours without getting frustrated - I want to hear DJ chatter, I want to hear -- hell, I want to hear commercial interruptions every 20 minutes or so -- I want to hear news reports, I want to hear weather and traffic (okay, maybe difficult for an Internet station) and I want to be able to call up, have a live person pick up the phone, chat with me, then play the song I want to hear" Anyone with any info leading to finding missing Automated DJ Station please post here. winamp.com nor Nullsof/AOL are responsible for any of the station's heard through their shoutcast system. These are independent stations and they can do or not do whatever they like. No one here knows these people (as far as I am aware) so if you need help then just track down the owners of the station. If you can't find them then in all likelihood they don't want you to find them, or no longer participate in internet radio. There are plenty of other Internet Radio stations they use similar systems. My suggestion, find a new favorite radio station and move on.
Oh yea, and post moved. this is not really a gen disc. type discussion. -Jay | Radio Toolbox.com |
