I have no idea
I read the I know this sounds stupid post, and I must say that it probably is not as bad as my question. I read the faq's and the tutorials and all that help stuff, and they all seem to skip one step. I see all the bitmap files, and I know their names, but where are they, how do you get to the part where you start editing the skins? where are the files? what do you do with them when you find them?
How do I get to the part where the actul editing takes place? |

Not as much as you would think. It is basically the readme from Skinner Atlas. Mr Jones had to format it, and put in the references to make it easier to navigate.

Well, if people take the time to read it and digest what is written then they don't come across as complete fucking annoying noobies who ask nothing but stupid questions that have been answered a thousand times before, don't you just hate loosers like that?

Actually, they should also read the url that is on Stillwater's sign...That's also useful It includes easter eggs and some other techniques(like croping the files to erase useless skin parts)

Oh, waite, does the sin thing work like this? you just change all those little bit map and text pictures the tutorials show you and then just compress them all into a zip file? And when I turn it into a skin file and use it, the player will take care of everything else? Is that how it works, is it realy that simple?

Yep. You can even test it as you go if you have them all in a folder inside your skins folder.
