Ableton Live v's Shoutcast
Hi all,
Myself and a friend are currently looking into setting up a SHOUTcast station. I was just wondering is it possible to broadcast my performances from Ableton Live or Logic Audio through winamp and SHOUTcast as I am performing or will I have to record them down and broadcast first? I'm still a little confused about the whole process at the moment. would I be required to route the output of the pc back to the input or is it possible to do it internally? Thanks in advance!! Paul. (couldn't find anything in the FAQ) |

Depends on your sound driver.
You have to either pick Stereo Mix or 'what you hear' in volume control or (with eg. M-Audio Delta cards) select Monitor Mixer (or something similar) as default recording device via the control panel (works even when Live is using ASIO). (And choose Soundcard input in the shoutcast dsp of course.) Fuck this place. |
