buffering?

I use a streamhost who assures me everything is ok at his end. I am having local difficulty accessing my stream due to constant buffering. Also I see that I am having more listener turnover than usual. Normally my listeners stay longer. Please can some folks tune in and report back if they are having problems with my stream buffering. This has been going on since yesterday night. Thanks a lot.

No buffering here either (Central US)

1 Mbps downstream DSL. Sounds fine.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Please keep it coming. This is very puzzling as I can see more under-runs than usual in the status page and more people are leaving quicker than usual but my friends say no problem with buffering.

My stuff radio - it is a 128 kb stream so that explains your problem

might be worth you doing a virus scan and an antispy scan to make sure nothing is robbing your upstream...

but in general it sounds great with no buffers but it is 128k so people on a dial up connection will get buffers every 2 seconds <shrug>

maybe worth adding a 24k stream for the lesser interneted people if you dont have one allready...

or could simply be just a routing issue between you and the listener,, the intenet hasnt been fantastic this weekend anyway but no major breakdowns anywhere tho

chillin tunes!

Good advice nick@ss. I will do some scans to be sure. I do have a 24kb stream too and I am having no problems with that.
