Since launching a player within a web page is plain HTML, even a web host like Tripod will work.

To play a SHOUTcast stream in Windows Media Player, you need Windows Media Player 9 or higher.

To test your stream using Windows Media Player, run the player. Choose File... Open URL. In the dialog box that appears, enter your SHOUTcast server, *without* the listen.pls

http://yourserver:yourport

Does it play? If NO, you have an issue with your stream and you need to fix that before worrying about embedding the player in a web page.

If YES, then make sure that the code above has been pasted correctly and that you have edited it to reflect the true Public IP and Port of your SHOUTcast server. Hope this helps.

also you must remember you need to have the parent player installed on the pc to make the embedded player work
