Distorted images on resize
Is there any way to minimize the distortion created when Winamp resizes an image? In the attached pic, the first column of images are resized by Winamp and the second column has been resized by Photoshop. I've tried using layer.fx_SetBilinear but it seems to do nothing.

I don't think there's anyway out in this. But why do you need to resize the images? It not only makes the images distorted but also slows down the system coz it takes a lot of CPU.

and yes have you noted the CPU shooting up when you double click to finalize your resizing. Now just imagine, if winamp was to do it, how much stress it would put on low end computers while moving the screen, showing vu's and all the stuff...

got you. So, the web recieved cover art is bigger than what the notifier requires.

Yeah, the notifier only requires 65px but the coverart can be any size. BTW, the images aren't retrieved from the web (I wish), just from my hard drive.
